I read this verse and prayed the prayer a few days ago. I have read this verse many times in the past, but I certainly wasn't forgiving my adversaries! I had a taste, this week, of how good it is to forgive over and over, and it has stamped out the resentment I felt towards a few people. This is a Truth certainly not found in the world! Forgiveness truly sets apart Christianity and sets me apart in my daily walk.

The passage really got me thinking, especially the part that said forgiveness sets christianity apart. I really need to learn to trust God's word. And also the prayer moved me. There are so many past hurts locked up within me. People have hurt me- church people. I want to forgive them and resume frequent fellowship with them. Indeed, Lord, help me restore my relationships. Amen.
