Teach on the Biblical principles of tithing. Share how tithing brings about a deeper relationship with God and how the blessing of God follows those who tithe. While this will increase giving in your church in a long term fashion it will help your members grow in the Lord. When teaching on finances have the focus being the relationship the Lord has to offer in a deeper, more intimate way.

Have the Holy Spirit set the budget for your ministry. Use prayer to seek the face of God for vision and direction and Godly planning to delegate your resources --- both finances and people.
